This week we talk with Taimour Azhar, an ambitious hemp processor in North Carolina. Trained as an electrical engineer and having extensive experience in large scale manufacturing, Taimour is well suited to become a leader in decortication and wants to share his knowledge so the industry can continue to grow.
It’s never easy being early in an industry still in its infancy, but he’s starting to hit his stride this year and hopes to grow his production to over 2500 acres. He offers hemp fiber, hurd and micro fiber for the American market and demand seems to be insatiable.
